Roberto Therón
Scientific Leader of VisUsal
Associate professor and head of the visual analytics research group at the University of Salamanca. His research interests include data visualization, artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction. Therón has a PhD in robotics from the University of Salamanca.

Rodrigo Santamaría
Associate professor in Computer Science at the University of Salamanca. His research interests are Bioinformatics and Information Visualization, especially the integration of different source data, analysis algorithms and representations for a better understanding of biological problems.

Alejandro Rodríguez
Computer science graduate from the University of Salamanca (Spain) (2018), currently studying a master in intelligent systems from the same university. Research areas of his interest are those related to data science, from data mining and analysis to data visualization; specially when applied to Bioinformatics and Digital Humanities.
Samuel Marcos
Samuel got his telecom degree at the Universidad de Valladolid in 2006 and he's also a doctor on Processes and Systems Engineering (2011). He's worked on design and animation of interactive-3D avatars, as in machine-human interaction within social robotics. He has also presented works on the generation (through the use of robotic-laser scanners) of incremental tridimensional models including colormetric information toward the civil scope. On top of that, he's knowledgeable about augmented reality, and multiple monitoring networks.

Felicidad García-Sánchez
PhD Fellow (contract awarded by the University of Salamanca) and Research Assistant/Designer in the GRIAL Research Group at the University of Salamanca. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master Degree (MsC) in Architecture and Interior Design from the University of Salamanca. Her research interests are related to the usage of images as a communication language, specially in the context of social networks and the Internet as well as to the aesthetic processes in visual communication.

Andrea Vázquez
Computer science graduate from the University of Salamanca (2016), also obtained a Master's degree on Computer science at the same university (2018). She is currently a PhD candidate working on a thesis built around the generation of automatic graphic interfaces for the support of decision making through the application of machine learning techniques.
